Linux, Python, Ruby Engineer, Hong Kong recruitment
Our client are a global investment bank. They are currently undertaking a large scale programme of work within infrastructure to automate processes in the Unix environment.
With experience in real time, low latency infrastructure, you will be responsible for the efficiency and streamlining of processes across a suite of applications used in the middle / back office.
Job Description:-
- Defining the testing strategy for performance, realiability and deployment.
- Providing quality risk reporting on the failure points and efficiency of systems
- Contributing to the integrity of the architecture for the banks high availability platforms by ensuring the operating systems are running at their most efficient.
- Identifying weaknesses and working with other technology groups to mitigate fail overs
Skills Required:
- Deep knowledge of Linux Redhat in a high availability, real time environment
- Investment banking is preferable but not essential
- Python and / or Ruby development experience gained in a commercial capacity
- Any experience with Puppet would also be highly regarded
- At least 10 years experience in technology
