Loan Operations Executive

Corporate and Asset Finance is a provider of specialist finance and asset management solutions with in excess of 800 staff engaged in corporate lending and asset financing  activities with clients in diverse industries throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.

The Loan Operations Team is responsible for the operational management of our European corporate loan portfolio and associated transactions from pre-settlement to termination including the analysis of proposed transactions and the implementation of appropriate procedures for effective day to day management.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

·  Operational management of a portfolio of syndicated and bespoke loan facilities, and other related debt products

·  Closing of primary and secondary loan market trades

·  Providing timely and accurate advice to senior management on key facility events and processes

·  Providing a high level of service and organisational support to the Origination, Finance and Risk Management departments

·  Managing deal cash flows, updating liquidity requirements, and other general cash management

·  Supporting the business' compliance with Macquarie Group's risk management framework, policies, and procedures

·  Managing the requirements of internal and external key stakeholders

To succeed in this role you will:

·  Be tertiary qualified in a commerce related discipline - accounting, finance, economics - or equivilent

·  Have experience in a Loan Operations role or similar

·  Be familiar with Loan Market Association (LMA) standard terms and conditions, LMA trade documentation, and credit documentation.

·  Have experience using the commercial loans management system, LoanIQ (MiSys)

·  Possess strong problem solving skills

·  Be well organised in a dynamic working environment to ensure tight deadlines are met

·  Possess strong numerical skills, and competency in Microsoft excel
