Key Roles Responsibilities
• Project manage BAU enhancement deliverables; ensure delivery within time / budget.
• Coordinate internal (project and business) and vendor resources to meet milestones
• Senior stakeholder engagement and planning activities; delivery of planning and resourcing requirements
• Ensure parallel coordination with internal technology teams securing funding from each as appropriate
• Ensure testing strategy is part of the project plans (e.g. ensure Regression testing is planned).
• Ensure full sign-off and acceptance of production system delivery by the Operations and Finance teams
• Oversee the post-implementation activities and PSS handover.
• Produce, submit and secure approval for any future PAR’s, ensuring full stakeholder management and in-country socialisation
• Support Project Managers in managing project financials such as forecast, accruals and actuals.
• Assume PM responsibility for critical BAU Enhancement initiative , coordinating across business and project teams to ensure items are addressed and that accountability for future processes is accepted by the Operations teams.
Qualifications Skills
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in leading global projects in banking/finance within technology teams.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in the Commercial Lending Business.
• Project Management Business Analysis experience of over 5 years in core banking application.
• Effective negotiation, spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management .
• Ability to escalate issues in an effective manner and resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the vendor.
• Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions.
• Highly motivated with willingness to take full ownership / responsibility for their work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, strong work ethic, exceptional customer service.
