Manager, Management Reporting (Ref: PSH/FIG/VN012D) recruitment

RESPONSIBILITY

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and supporting assigned businesses with monthly and quarterly management reporting submissions.
Ensure information / commentary is faithfully representative of core business drivers and where necessary conduct additional analysis on reported results
Analyze business results and identify any items of note that should be highlighted for senior management
Coordinate with and provide support to Head Office on divisional issues and ad hoc reporting needs
Manage and prioritize regional projects impacting management reporting across the division.
Manage / coordinate efforts of staff and perform supervisory tasks such as work allocation, training, problem resolution, and performance evaluation.
Assist business unit finance teams across the region in meeting regional and corporate deliverables on a timely basis, including:
Design and review of accounting models
Analysis of sales, financial, and business results / trends
Preparation of clear and concise explanation of business drivers
Instruct business unit personnel re: regional / corporate requirements
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for regional and corporate users

REQUIREMENTS:

A recognized accounting degree
Experience with financial services industry and/or insurance specifically would be a plus
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in management reporting
Proficiency in Hyperion-Essbase is a MUST
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Knowledge of IFRS and / or US GAAP a plus
