Within our Tax group, our International Assignment Solutions (IAS) team assists global companies and mobile individuals in harnessing the value of global mobility.

We are currently seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to join our Melbourne team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of expatriate programs (compliance and consulting), including being the primary contact with VIP expatriates and primary/secondary contact with corporate HR or Tax team contacts.
- Provide accurate and pro-active tax advice on issues pertaining to the deployment of expatriates and related issues.
- Pro-actively seek out and follow through on IAS consulting opportunities for existing and target clients.
- Act as an integral part of coaching and training more junior staff.
Role requirements:
- Tertiary qualified with proven technical knowledge and understanding of international tax gained in either a Big 4 or Mid-tier professional services environment.
- Australian tax knowledge and experience is preferable
- Ability to work closely with clients and develop client relationships.
- Strong performance management skills
- Strong time management skills and well developed research and problem solving skills;
- Ability to determine appropriate communication avenues with client contacts and VIP expatriates depending on the circumstances/issues (ie. phone over email).
- Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and superior problem solving skills.
