Managing Director- Major Account Sales
This role is responsible for the strategic relationship management of the firm’s largest clients. This senior appointment will have responsibility for a number of key accounts based in North America; primarily Regional Banks or Buyside. The successful candidate will have broad experience in financial markets, account management/Sales and the ability to manage complex relationships.
- Development and execution of an account management plan
- Maintenance and development of key relationships
- Direct sales of certain products particularly new initiatives
- Working with product/sales groups in the execution of contracts
- Renewal of existing contracts
- Strategic work and thinking with client base to identify new initiatives and partnership opportunities
- Development of the infrastructure and process’s to support account management
- Internal communication and reporting
- Participation in specific project teams towards launch of new products and services
Requirement:
- Broad based experience with another market data vendor or investment bank at a senior level with exposure to managing complex relationships and/or process’s
- Knowledge and experience of capital markets and especially OTC derivatives and/or structured credit
- Knowledge of Market Data, Derivatives pricing or trade processing a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong inter-personal and influencing skills
- Specific experience in covering Regional Banks or Buyside will be a big advantage
- Key requirement of managing complex relationships towards the main objective of increasing revenue streams year-on-year in line with the account plan
- Must be able to manage senior level meetings
