Your responsibilities will include manufacturing engineering and process/quality improvement. You will participate in the product development process. An engineering degree with an emphasis in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred. A minimum of three years in industry is preferred with demonstrated success in developing creative engineered solutions. Good team-building and communication skills required.

  1. Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
  2. Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new or revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results
  3. Performs product and process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
  4. Evaluates and resolves customer quality complaints
  5. Writes technical reports, prepares drawings, develop charts and graphs to describe test results, product, or process performance and makes presentations
  6. Diagnoses problems with products or manufacturing processes - recommends and implements solutions
  7. Conducts studies of manufacturing processes to improve process capability
  8. Observes all safety rules and regulations

 

Education and Experience/Skills Required:

1.     B.S. degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or engineering technology preferred.

2.     Minimum of 3 years related experience

3.     Experience with problem analysis and resolution

4.     Experience working in teams

5.     Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

6.     Proficient in AutoCAD

7.     Knowledge of basic electrical principles

8.     Proficient in MS Office

9.     Mechanical skills

10.  Good communication skills, ability to work with vendors, customers and employees

11.  Capacity for accurate and careful work
