Market Data Accounts Analyst *
About the Role
Macquarie's Market Data services function within Business Management Sourcing and Vendor Management has global accountability for managing market data infrastructure, contracts and administration for market data category.
The market data analyst role is primarily concerned with the provisioning of market data products and services, managing costs, managing the inventory of these services, the reconciliation payment of associated vendor invoicing and ensuring that Macquarie adheres to the data compliance obligations.
Responsibilities include:
- User administration of market data systems. Including: adding new users; transfer and cancelling users.
- Inventory management of users/services of market data products in the FITS inventory system. This will include adding services, adding users and inventory uploads reconciliations for large datasets.
- Data compliance and data access honesty reporting for Reuters and direct reported exchanges
- Reconciliations and processing of market data invoices Vendor Management in the accounts payable function.
- Oversight of the management of the market data contract administration process.
- Work closely with the wider market data team, specifically the Business Intelligence and Technology functions
About You
Ideally you will have:
- Proven reconciliation knowledge and managing large datasets
- Understanding of accounting concepts.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent team player with the ability to cooperatively drive desired outcomes
- Ability to work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions
- A self starter who can work well in a team and can provide excellent customer service to the business
- Be a quick learner, self-motivated and have a strong proactive mentality
- Financial markets experience is required
- MS Office experience with strong Excel skills required
- Experience with market data inventory systems, FITS, is desired
- Contract / contract management experience is desired
