JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Manage a $100,000 monthly advertising budget the calendar of advertising activities that goes with it.
· Generate a minimum of 1,000 leads a month out of the budget and activities you manage.
· Purchase national B2B advertising (traditional print magazines, digital, internet, etc.) in several healthcare niches. This involves building relationships with media salespeople and negotiating agreements for ad space.
· Oversee and monitor workload to ensure quality control and ability to meet deadlines.
· Constantly look for ways to improve existing processes and workflow to increase efficiency.
· Work with owner of the company to set new budgets, determine advertising goals and carryout the overall advertising vision of the company.
· Create new advertising campaigns – from concept to content design as well as landing pages and response mechanisms.
· Work with graphics department to design, layout, and format advertising and landing pages.
· Research new advertising options and decide if and how it will fit into our advertising plan.
· Responsible for activities related to advertising placements including, but not limited to invoicing, tracking and measurement.
· Analyze campaign metrics to measure performance, effectiveness and response on various Direct Response initiatives. Regular interaction with Lead Generation Manager centered around results from direct response campaigns and how to maximize ROI.
· Research and follow Direct Response marketing trends on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to identify new advertising opportunities.
· Research, identify and initiate new advertising opportunities with salespeople.
· Oversee a support person who manages delivery and execution of media campaigns as well as daily tracking.
· REQUIREMENTS:
· Able to think outside the box, be extremely creative and communicate ideas visually with graphics. Not afraid of a blank piece of paper when starting a new campaign.
· Proven success in creating direct response marketing campaigns in direct mail, print, email and internet marketing.
· Strong organizational skills and confident decision-making abilities
· Great time management -- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks efficiently, and adapt and react quickly to change
· Excellent verbal and written skills
· Strong writing, typing and editing skills
· Goal oriented
· Enthusiastic, high energy, quick learner ready to thrive in a fast paced environment.
· Self-motivated and independent; comfortable making many decisions on your own.
· Able to take praise and criticism.
· Attentive to detail, and able to make judgments when facing ambiguity.
· Strong ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
· Media buying and negotiation experience in an agency or similar direct response marketing company.
· Direct Response copywriting a PLUS.
· Knowledge of Pay Per Click and other internet marketing strategies a PLUS.
· Experience with graphics programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver a PLUS.
· Experience working with databases and segmenting lists for marketing.
· Proficient with Macintosh Operating Systems.
· Experience in web language / design: HTML, Flash a PLUS.
· Experience in audio and video editing a PLUS.
