National Jewish is looking for a PRN Medical Assistant. The role of the MA is to assist patients with activities of daily living to contribute towards efficient patient flow pattern and to assist with clerical support within the patient care area.
EVIDENCE OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from High School or equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of six (6) months of recent and related experience in a medical setting is required.
Special Skills: Basic mathematical skills, customer service, verbal communication, attention to detail, cashiering, written communication, organization and time management.
Certification/Licensure: CPR/BLS required; Medical Assistant Certification, required. Documentation of completion from a formal Medical Assistant program through an accredited school or documentation of a medical program that meets the criteria of a medical assistant program such as military prepared corpsman or medic required.
