Position Description:
- Recurring and ad-hoc managment reporting of actual financial
results
- Forecasting and budgeting for the Firm's interest in Real Estate
Merchant Banking funds
- Assist with the development of more robust cost management
procedures
- Ad hoc requests from the Real Estate / Merchant Banking BU
Skills Required:
- General understanding of the Private Equity / Real Estate Fund
Business
- Experience with creation of management presentations using
powerpoint and/or other software
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Analysis
- Experience with financial modeling and projections using excel
and/or modeling software
Skills Desired:
- 5+ years of experience, preferably within Private Equity/Real
Estate
- Knowledge of various investment valuation methodologies including
Discounted Cash Flows.
- Understanding net income and distribution waterfalls for the
purpose of calculating carried interest.
