MI Analyst – HR recruitment
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a MI Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a MI Analyst, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
An exciting opportunity to join the HR Management Information (MI) team for Markets International Banking (MIB) HR to work as part of a strong team to deliver and influence the MI reporting across HR, both geographically and aligned to the business structure.
This role is responsible for supporting the production, co-ordination and delivery of global HR Management Information working with the existing team to delivery effective MI and seek out ways to optimise / increase capability of the MI function.
Key Objectives:
- Deliver accurate and timely HRMI reporting.
- Pro-active approach to MI delivery and using MI to add value.
- Identify areas where MI can be aligned across HR.
- Ensure reporting accuracy is standardised and is consistent across the business.
- Leverage synergies to prevent duplication of effort.
- Compliance with Governance and Control around sensitive HR data and reporting.
Competencies:
Academic Qualifications:
- Possibly educated to degree level, or equivalent, although a proven track record in MI and clearly demonstrated experience in delivering MI from start to finish will carry more weight.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- High level of analytical skills.
- Strong data manipulation skills.
- Good understanding of relational databases.
- MS VBA skills.
- SQL server.
- Other Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of data warehousing practices.
- Practical experience of Business Objects reporting.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Can demonstrate an ability to work with ambiguous requirements and structures.
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team, particularly adept at engaging the wider HR Operations teams.
- Experience of working within a reporting / analytics environment.
- Strong focus on delivering in a high pressure environment and managing high workloads
- International orientation, understanding of ways of working within global businesses.
- Understanding of investment banking structures and operating environments.
- HR experience and workforce related reporting.
- Awareness of impact of MI, and the consequences of it in the wider business.
- Experience of working in the banking industry.
