MIDWIVES NEEDED
Hays are currently recruiting band 5 and 6 midwives with NHS experience to work through Hays in and around Derby. If you are able to adapt to new environments quickly and with ease, and are a highly professional and enthusiastic midwife we would love to hear from you. We offer both full time and part-time hours to fit around your and needs availability.To apply to work as a midwife through Hays, you must have:
· Experience in a similar UK- based role
· Up to date NMC registration
· Eligibility to work in the UK.
Some of your duties will include:
· Providing intra-partum
· Delivering babies
· providing antenatal and postnatal care to women
· Assisting with developmental activities/preceptorship
You must also be able to work autonomously within guidelines and the sphere of professional practice.

As an agency midwife it is essential that you work efficiently under pressure and that you are able to work off your own initiative to make difficult decisions and maintain an excellent level of patient care at all times. To qualify for this position we require you to have relevant experience working within a UK hospital setting, to hold a current NMC registration and to be available for at least three shifts per week.
