MIS Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Timely completion of monthly, budget and ad hoc group headcount and employment cost reports;
• Maintenance and development of the group headcount and employment cost reporting system, including alignment with the HR system (ADP )
• Data coordination for the annual compensation process and production of MIS at key stages, including preparation of final summary reports for the CFO and Board
• Provision of assistance, as required, to the London payroll function (currently comprising of a Payroll Administrator using the ADP Globalview system).
1. Group headcount and employment cost reporting
• Production of all monthly headcount and employment cost reports for management, statutory and regulatory purposes, including interface with HR and the consolidation of monthly returns from overseas offices;
• Reconciliation of monthly employment cost reports to the Group’s accounting records;
• Maintain and develop the group headcount and employment cost reports and reporting systems to meet the changing needs of the Group;
• Preparation of group headcount and employment cost budgets; and
• Preparation of group headcount and employment cost forecasts.
2. Compensation process
• To manage the manipulation of compensation spreadsheets, data and analysis reporting, including working collaboratively with the US compensation manager providing input to salary surveys and perform compensation analysis to ensure market competitiveness;
• Driving compensation projects aimed at advancing the overall compensation function within the Fitch Ratings Group;
• Evaluating and monitoring current employee compensation, providing analysis on an as required basis;
• To interface with the HR team providing compensation information and guidance, in particular to the recruitment team and HR Advisors
• To act as gatekeeper and record keeper for all new hire salary and title approvals;
Skills Required:
• Fully competent in advanced Excel - certification preferred
• Experience gained in a busy Finance department or similar environment
• Good level of general education to min. A level standard. Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting, payroll and HR systems preferred but not essential
• Numerate and comfortable working with large quantities of data, including in multiple currencies
• Ability to work accurately, with an attention to detail and with agreed timelines
• Well developed communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
