Multi Asset Fixed Income Sales Analyst

Position Description

Fixed Income requires a sales professional who is a self starter, adaptable and who is committed to building strong and lasting relationships with our clients.

Based in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling Fixed Income products (with the exception of FX) and related services to clients in various jurisdictions across Europe and the Middle East and Africa.

Upon starting the role, you will initially provide assistance to senior sales people and help on executing transactions. As you develop your client facing skills and product knowledge more accounts will be assigned to you.

You will be expected to develop a good understanding of the Fixed Income marketplace. You will also be expected to become involved in business and product development and obtain a good knowledge of the competitor landscape. The scope for development within the role is high as you would be encouraged to take on additional responsibility from an early stage.

Skills Required

A natural, outgoing nature and strong interpersonal skills are key to being a successful salesperson. You will also need to possess an analytical mind, be a transactional focused person and be able to prioritize a varied workload. You will be expected to quickly learn and utilize a broad base of knowledge and tools.

Successful applicants will have the following skills/experience:
- Demonstrate a strong desire to work and excel in sales
- 2:1 minimum degree qualification or equivalent from a recognized university
- Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Foreign languages are a plus
- Able to work hard and with minimum direction
- Having previously worked in trading execution role will be positively considered
