As part of a £2 billion international group, our client specialises in creative print and display to the high street.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the company is seeking a high calibre individual to be responsible for the planning, facilitation and completion of Continuous Improvement Projects to enhance operational effectiveness and support the strategic cost reduction objectives of the company. You will coordinate continuous improvement activity, by the prioritization of problems, and the promotion of problem elimination and lean manufacturing principles. You will have the ability to lead, coach, train and mentor teams in the use of Six Sigma / Modern Manufacturing tools and processes whilst working with Department Manager’s and business teams to create a culture which supports process management and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role candidates will have Continuous Improvement experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment, and have demonstrable experience of their ability to influence and motivate others to achieve continuous improvement results.  You will have proven ability to manage and monitor multiple projects, as well as be an effective team player with a positive and flexible approach and the ability to use your own initiative.

Our client is looking for a tenacious and analytical thinker, who has excellent communication and influencing skills, coupled with excellent numeracy and administration skills. Experience of leading projects using Six Sigma / Modern Manufacturing Tools and Processes is also essential.
