Position Description
The Legal Entity Governance and Oversight (LEGO) team is responsible for the governance and oversight of Firm's legal entity population. The team's responsibilities include:
(i) Population oversight (e.g. new entity approval, entity closure, risk assessment, Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRB) reporting)
(ii) Legal entity policy development, deployment and compliance monitoring
(iii) KPIs and management reporting
(iv) Risk management and issue escalation
(v) Stakeholder Management (including communications and training)
Responsibilities:
The role will be in the non-consolidated legal entity LEGO teamworkstream working within the Legal Entity Controllers function in Glasgow. The role will entail managing the firm's Strategic Investment legal entity population and performing global management reporting and analysis. The key areas of responsibility are:
Strategic Investment Population Management
• Liaise with the appropriate Legal, Business Unit and Controller contacts to identify new entities, assess them for FRB Reporting, perform a risk ranking and add the relevant information to the Blueprint database
• Perform a monthly FRB reporting attestation
• Perform a monthly reconciliation of the data held in the firm's legal entity and investment databases (Clarity, Blueprint and LEXI)
• Provide ad-hoc support / query management
Quarterly Data Attestation Management
• Manage the quarterly process to validate minimum standard legal entity data across the full non-consolidated legal entity population
Management Reporting / KPI Analysis
• Prepare monthly population / KPI reports
• Prepare senior stakeholder decks
• Ad-hoc reports / analysis
Blueprint Administrator
• Provide access and training to new users
• Respond to user requests for custom report development, addition of fields, security restrictions etc.
• Participate in testing new software releases and coordinate with IT and the vendor with respect to issues
Ad-hoc
• Participate in related legal entity projects and provide support to the broader LEGO team as required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with colleagues/clients of all levels
• Strong appreciation of escalation and risk awareness
• Advanced MS Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
