Solvency II – Compliance Officer recruitment

THE COMPANY

•         Our client is a leading global consultancy offering Insurance support, management and governance assistance to specialist insurance firms.

RESPONSIBILITES:

•         Monitor regulatory requirements and emerging best practice with regard to Solvency II, and to ensure awareness of them

•         Identify any actions, practices or procedures necessary for clients to comply with Solvency II and to report with respect to same on a continuing basis

•         Develop, implement and complete a compliance plan to ensure effective compliance monitoring of Solvency II implementation and compliance

•         Develop and assist a programme of appropriate systems and controls and to monitor that those controls are in place to comply with Solvency II

•         Liaise with internal audit and risk management to ensure a coordinated approach to internal control 

•         Update the compliance manual to reflect Solvency II requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•         Significant experience of Solvency II policy and procedures development and implementation with the Insurance industry

Relevant professional qualifications are desirable
