Operations Director
This is an exceptional opportunity to join this highly successful international but boutique Real Estate/Hospitality Investment group who have been experiencing exponential growth since inception and has ambitions to expand into a wider range of investments. Candidates must have significant previous exposure to the real estate and/or hospitality sector in an Operations Director, project manager or similar role to be considered for this post.
To maintain our clients' growth and new property, hospitality and other investments operationally, this role has been created to support new investments on behalf of clients purchasing residential corporate property, hotels, restaurants and other investments in Europe. It is essential the Operations Director demonstrates current hands on operational commercial management experience supporting investments in Real Estate (Residential/Corporate) and/or Hospitality across multiple offices and locations in the UK and in Europe.
The remit of this role is exciting varied, requiring a detailed knowledge and prior experience across ALL of the below activities and responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance sitting on the Group's Committee to formulate and implement best practices
- Establishing and ensuring compliance with best practices ensuring effective communication policies are in place locally and internationally
- Overseeing the Group's IT systems and outsourcing contracts and implementing new and improved systems to enhance efficiency and support better reporting and information flow.
- Taking responsibility for all Risk Management for the group with a detailed knowledge of FSA regulations and prior experience of obtaining FSA approval.
- Prior strategic management and delivery of operational and company culture strategies across multiple locations/countries.
- Project management - prior experience with a track record of on time delivery within budget
In addition to coming from a like-for-like business, candidates are likely to have an Accountancy, Project Management Systems and/or Legal background before evolving within an Operational Management capacity to be considered.
