Operations Senior Officer recruitment

The Company
Client is a global investment management firm.

The Role
The operations senior officer will ensure trades are processed according to different mandates and requirements, update on cash and securities positions in the in-house trading system for the use of front office and compliance purposes.

You will review trading process when required, assist in project management and confirm trades or tax calculations when such confirmations are required on an urgent basis. You will also provide any assistance on security setup, if required.

You will be communicating and liaising on corporate actions, when a response is needed on an urgent basis, investigating and assisting to rectify any potential overdrafts. You will also assist on maintaining futures margins, especially when topping up of such margins may be required on an urgent basis.

Your Profile
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline in commerce, banking, finance or business administration (preferably within Asset Management).

You will have approximately 5 years hands-on operations experience on exchange-traded fixed income products. Operations experience on equities and fixed income securities settlement and confirmation preferable.

You will have good verbal and written communication skills in English, with ability to interact with all levels of staff and management. Strong computer literacy preferred (preferably with BR Aladdin and Excel).
