Outstanding Professor of Finance specialized in Capital Markets/Asset Management – one vacancy in Singapore

With a PhD in finance or economics, the successful candidate will have demonstrated his/her ability to produce the highest quality research and will have an outstanding track record of international publication. His/her research should be considered a reference in the field of asset pricing.

Research service will focus on asset management with special emphasis on asset allocation and portfolio construction and will be carried out within EDHEC-Risk Institute (www.edhec-risk.com), a leading international research centre for industry-relevant academic research. The successful candidate will teach in the Asian chapter of the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD In Finance (www.edhec-risk.com/AIeducation/PhD_Finance) programme, and will act as a figurehead for the programme in the region. The candidate will have demonstrated his/her capacity to interact with the financial industry via research projects and/or executive education, and the desire to pursue projects, as a member of EDHEC-Risk Institute, in collaboration with the industry.

In view of the candidate’s status as an outstanding researcher in the field of asset pricing, the salary will be at the highest end of the scale (range from USD330k to USD460k) and bonuses are available for both academic publications and involvement in EDHEC-Risk Institute’s research projects.
