Paediatric Nurse- Needed in Leicester
Hays Healthcare is currently looking for Paediatric Nurses to join a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing high levels of care within an established and successful NHS trust in Leicester.
Working as a Paediatric Nurse you will assess, plan and provide nursing care for children who are suffering from a wide variety of conditions including diseases, illnesses and cancer or who are recovering from surgery; document patient progress through careful record keeping, notifying doctors in the event of any changes in a patient's situation and assist doctors by checking vital signs, drawing blood, giving vaccinations, and taking patient histories during their visits.
We are looking for very intuitive and reassuring Paediatric Nurses to temporarily join the professional and expert team of our well established client.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Current UK paediatric experience
- Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Be confident at handling the distress of parents
