Partnership Accountant

My client, a leading law firm is looking for an accountant to to join their large finance team. You will manage a team of 5 and report into the finance director.

They are seeking a Qualified (ACA/ACCA) Accountant to lead a team of 5 in providing support in all areas of financial control and planning.
* Preparation of the Annual Financial Statements, including the provision of information to the firm’s auditors and being the primary contact for the external audit team
*Preparing and reviewing the firm’s daily, monthly and annual cash flow projections.
*Preparing, reviewing and maintaining a rolling financial forecast (comprising BS, PL and CF) over a minimum two year time-line
*Manage the credit control team
*Manage and oversee the payroll function
*Maintain current and tax reserve accounts and produce the annual summary of movements for each
*Meet with Partners to discuss queries
*Oversee the production and distribution of documentation for Partners’ capital borrowing
*Working with the firms tax advisor’s to produce both the partnership tax return, and individual partner tax returns. Ensuring that both the returns and payments are submitted on time.
*Contribute as part of the senior management team to the direction, priorities and management of the finance function
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Manage and oversee the payroll function
*Help to drive a culture of continuous improvement, delivering efficiencies and enhancing performance
To be considered candidate’s must have previous UK Tax experience and several years relevant experience with UK GAAP.
