Payments Assistant

My Hartlepool based client has a need for an interim Payment Processing Assistant (Accounts Payable Clerk). The role will run until the end of March.

The job has arisen due to internal secondment causing a need for a role to be backfilled.

The job will consist of maintaining accounts payable ledgers, processing high volumes of invoices each month, liaising with suppliers, handling BACS payments and creating transfers for online banking.

There will also be some general administration. The candidate will be reporting into the Payment Processing Supervisor.

The ideal candidate should have meticulous attention to detail with a proven track records of working within accounts payable.
