Payroll Junior

A top 10 accountancy firm in London requires a Junior Payroll officer to join their Employer's Support Group (ESG). ESG advises on a variety of payroll related matters, particularly executive remuneration packages, benefits in kind and their tax and national insurance implications. They provide reassurance that payroll procedures are operating correctly and meet HMRC and DWP requirements. 

The purpose of the role is to assist senior members of the department with all aspects of payroll. The firm will give the Payroll Junior their own portfolio of clients and will be happy to sponsor a relevant Payroll Qualification if necessary. Responsibilities of the role will include ensuring all starters, leavers, benefits and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database, process P46 and P45 forms, running month end payroll journals and responding to client payroll queries. In order to be considered for this role you must have some Finance experience and preferably have had exposure to Payroll. You must be highly numerical, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
