PB Synthetics Trade Support Team Leader (AVP)
Prime Brokerage Ops consists of PB Middle Office, PB Margin and PD Derivatives. This role is in the high growth area of Synthetics Middle Office within Prime Services. The Prime Brokerage Synthetics Trade Capture/Client service team is the point of contact for both the Clients and Operations for a range of trade related issues, and their role is to facilitate resolutions of any problems that arise. The team is responsible for supporting the Equity Swaps, Index/Custom Index Swaps, CFDs Portfolio Swaps business. This team offers the opportunity for an individual to develop their Prime Brokerage experience within a leading Investment Bank.
Main Function
- Team Leader
- Manage escalated issues from all departments
- Respond to all queries received from clients, operations and counterparties in a timely fashion
- Daily interaction with Trading
- Trade date client trade allocations
- Monitor trades on settlement date to identify pair offs and daylights
- Client position break queries
- Client Service- Confirmation, matching and Fails
- Managing Portfolio Swap Reset process
- Contract Static Setup- Portfolio Swaps
- Manual Trade Bookings- PB Crosses/ Conversions
- CFD and PSWAP Give-up Trade Bookings
- Position Reconciliations- Wash book recs
- CFD/PSWAP/ Book Transfer reconciliation
- Trade Exception Queue- Management
- MiFID Transaction Reporting
- Assist in Regulatory Change
Person Requirements
- Experience in leading a small team ensuring all controls are completed efficiently and risk are escalated to senior management.
- Experience managing holidays, appraisals,
- Equity CFD, Single Stock Swap or portfolio swap experience
- Equity trade flow product knowledge
- Pro-active can-do attitude, willing to get heavily involved performing daily tasks as part of an upbeat hard working team
- Client Service Experience
- Good influencing and relationship-building skills
- Good communicator
- Good time management skills with ability to multi-task prioritise workload
