- Management Information Statistic (MIS) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) maintenance
- Produce accurate and timely Performance data
- Performance reporting follows a monthly cycle for the Institutional Marketing / Fund Managers / Senior Management.
- Each member of the team is an integral part of the process.
- All members of the team can provide and explain Attribution reports to other departments
- Each member of the team assists where necessary to produce ad-hoc Performance data for other Departments
- Provide feedback to the Investment Decision Process.
- Maintain strong internal / external relations
- Help drive team forward and promote team working
- Performance 'own' the GIPS Compliant Track records
- Performance reporting for T+15 Client Reporting efforts
- Project work
Job rotation and career enhancement (formal and informal training) is also a part of the ethos within the team environment. These include :
- Produce accurate Performance Reports using StatPro systems on a monthly basis for Client Reporting, Institutional Marketing in a timely manner and for internal Heads of Desks reporting.
- Relationship management and relationship building
- To prepare, input (via Download or manually) on a monthly basis the production an output containing Performance data to include Market values, Fund Returns and comparative Index returns.
- Produce Attribution reports to quantify and follow Investment Decision Process
- Produce Performance data for Retail Marketing (UK Retail and European wholesale) on an ad-hoc basis for fact sheets / key features / Adverts.
- Produce Performance returns for Board Papers and Report Accounts for all Product ranges – eg Investment Trusts, Unit Trusts, SICAVs, OEIC's, Exempt Funds.
- Fundamental involvement to help maintain GIPS Compliance for FC
- Facilitate T+15 reporting requirement for FCNL, FCUK, FCIE, FCPT
- Perform ad-hoc requests
- Management Information Statistics
- Experience of Fixed Income Performance Reporting and attribution
- Develop positive relationship internally / externally to ensure smooth exchange of Performance data such as Clients / external vendors / Fund Managers / IT Dept.
- Familiarity with non-standard assets – eg Forwards, Hedging, Derivatives
- An understanding of Ex-ante Risk metrics . Explain and interpret ex-post Risk statistics
- Familiarity with interfacing Performance systems with Accounting Systems
- Training, developing and mentoring other team members
- Change management
- This role would ideally suit a bright graduate with a Mathematical related degree or equivalent
- An aptitude for mathematical information
- Initiative and Drive
- PC Literate
- IMC or CFA preferred
