Performance Maanger – Asset Management recruitment

My client is top tier investment bank who are presently recruiting a Performance Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in Performance Management and managing a team of performance attribution analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to foresee and navigate team and business through upcoming issues
Ability to handle and manage change Detailed understanding of fixed income instruments
Knowledge of data flows and the potential data issues around Fixed Income attribution.
Manage team deliverable while servicing all ad hoc queries and requests
Manage all relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to be the technical backbone of the team
Develop and manage careers within team.

Skills

Proven track record in the Performance Attribution arena with a deep understanding of performance attribution methodologies across Fixed Income business
Previous management experience with a demonstration of strong leadership skills
A deep understanding of all the data inputs into performance measurement and attribution calculations
A good understanding of derivatives
Ability to create and manage strong relationships
Ability to set agenda drive results in order to facilitate resolution of issues
Strong communication skills
Must be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
Good numeracy and statistical skills Needs excellent attention to details and a high degree of professionalism/initiative Good understanding of the asset management business
Educated to degree level, preferably in a finance/mathematics related discipline
IMC/CFA would be advantageous
Previous experience in any of the following systems would be an advantage: SunGard Xamin, BiSam, B-One and StatPro.
