Portfolio Counsellor recruitment
Objective:
Main objective is to support and coach Relationship Managers with regards to portfolio construction and portfolio reviews in order to provide superior investment advice to CPC or important Citigold clients, thereby increasing client satisfaction and share of wallet of existing clients and successfully acquire new clients. Mission of a Portfolio Counselor ('PC') is to provide holistic advice through the portfolio review process and instil the Portfolio Approach with RMs he is working along. PC ensures delivery of Citi's view in terms of investment strategy to RMs and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and coach RMs in order to ensure clients' portfolios are in line with the investment strategy of the bank. PC will leverage Citi research to promote investment themes and conduct portfolios reviews.
- Attend important client meetings and assist RMs in addressing more complex client needs or requests.
- Track evolution and potential concentration trends of the investment product portfolio and individual clients' portfolio in order to ensure alignment with Citi's portfolio strategy.
- Ensure full and best usage of Citiplanner. Contribute to the further development of sales advisory tools in order to ensure alignment with the banks strategy and an optimal usage by RMs.
- Partner with Product Managers to deliver top quality products by providing feedback; give inputs into development of the Investment Products offering in line with clients' needs, market opportunities and the bank's product development strategy. Monitor market trends and work with Distribution and Product teams to recommend new product ideas.
- Cooperate with the Research Analyst in order to transmit Citi's view and recommendation to the RMs; ensure research communication is consistently implemented towards clients, create awareness and understanding in the business.

Skills
Knowledge / Experience:
- Degree in a quantitative, finance or economics discipline is a must. MBA/CFA or her finance related post-University degree is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial market and economies, market topics and investment products
- Strong product knowledge
- Proven track record of experience in client investment advice or investment research communication
- Experienced and comfortable in presenting to a variety of audiences, from small, focused groups to large conference venues, internal and external audiences
Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including public speaking experience. Ability to explain complex financial and economic topics in easy to understand language.
- Strong client focus and capacity to recognize and assess risks and opportunities.

- Fluent in English and Russian

Reporting Line:
PCs reports to the Portfolio Counselling Head
