As the Pricing MI Analyst, you will provide pricing and analytical support to specific insurance products with a focus on monitoring and recommending pricing strategies to meet product and company objectives.
Key responsibilities;
- Writing SAS programmes to extract and manipulate data and produce Pricing-specific MI
- Analysing key MI and comparing actual experience to expected
- Analysing data; including building statistical models and analysing trends to better understand our customers and our business
- Helping to formulate Pricing recommendations in line with company objectives including TCF
- Communicating key findings to stakeholders
- Maintaining the MI requests log mailbox.
Experience required;
- Strongly numerate with a good statistical understanding
- Mathematical, Statistical or Actuarial background preferred
- Ideally experience of using a combination of SAS and/or Excel to extract and analyse data
- Diligent and good eye for detail
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts in simple terms
