Private Bankers seeking to annuitize their client base recruitment
The Company
London based Boutique that has been in business for over 10 years and was established by a top banker with a highly successful career at the top two US Investment banks.
Its clients are typically highly knowledgeable HNWIs and family offices who understand the benefits of obtaining institutional pricing (as obtained by e.g. pension funds) and not being tied to the in-house products and retail pricing of of a private bank. All client assets are held with a top tier custodian bank
The person
My client is looking for successful private bankers who may have built up substantial books of business and are now looking to move on from working for a bank (e.g. into retirement) and so looking for an exit strategy in which they can benefit from their client base even while moving on from their bank.
The role
The private banker would move assets to the boutique and would be contractually entitled to a share of the revenues from those clients as long as the assets remained with the boutique. The banker would continue to deal exclusively with those clients and be enabled to access additional clients as they wish. As an example, the private banker could be paid £120,000 per annum for each USD 30 million in assets brought in.
