Product Manager – Investments – Wanted for Global Wealth Manager on 6 Month Contract – London recruitment
Our client is looking for a Product Management professional who will facing off to the Investments business and will be accountable for the design, development, risk assessment, on-going operation and eventual closedown of products within their scope. The 1st stage will be performing the post-implementation of product reviews.
They are looking for product management professionals who will have technical product knowledge within the Investments space.
You will be the overall champion (divisional centre of excellence) for Investments products under their specific remit. You will retain technical responsibility for the products in your suite and will be accountable for the completion of various on-going product related tasks.
This role wills ensure that products are designed to meet their original objectives, perform in line with expectations and operate within agreed risk appetite.
To be suitable for this position you must have previous Product governance (New Product Approvals, operational risk, risk product reviews, etc) exposure and can be professionals coming from an internal audit, operational risk, compliance governance, risk management backgrounds. To also qualify for these positions you must have good product knowledge in one of the business areas mentioned above.
These roles, based in London will be on an initial 6 month contract with the option to either go permanent or extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to up skill yourself in this high demand work area, work on a global role and greenfield project and will be making yourself extremely marketable given there will be greater focus coming in from the FSA surrounding Product Governance.
This role will also have a high degree of facing off to Senior Stakeholders in the business so communication skills must be excellent
