Project Accountant - Liquidations
Have you worked on a company restructuring project? Do you have liquidations experience? A City based Alternative Investments firm seeks a Project Accountant to work on a complex restructuring project to ensure tax efficient closure of thirty entities.
As a Project Accountant you will be responsible for performing all steps required to complete the closure and preparation for liquidation of at least thirty entities in the group structure, liaison with liquidators, undertaking due diligence, managing various internal and external stakeholders including Tax, Legal, Treasury, Compliance and Finance. You will also be assessing further opportunities for simplification and liaising and advising the Company Secretary on the reorganisation and capitalisation for liquidation.
To be considered for this role you will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a large company performing internal group restructuring projects, have a strong finance background including monthly accounting and annual financial statements preparation, project management skills and ideally knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. Financial services experience is preferred, but if you have relevant large company experience you will still be considered.
Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
Due to the high profile nature of this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, be an independent worker who is focused and results driven and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
