Project Manager/ Business Analyst-Compliance Technology-Investment Bank
Tier 1 Investment Bank seeks experienced BA/ PM to join Compliance Technology
Seasoned, technical project manager/ business analyst required to join Global and High Profile Team-providing Technology solutions to the Compliance business function.
You will have excellent product knowledge-ideally in;
Equities
Swaps and Futures
And ideally will have previous experience in Compliance. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Identifying the key stakeholders and establishing the project governance
- Identifying the issues to be addressed
- Liaising with the various business units and support departments to determine priorities to identify solutions
- Developing the project strategy and project plan
- Allocating resources driving the completion of tasks
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting project progress to the stakeholders
- Explaining all diagrams and models to the business representative and end user, ensuring that they match the business requirements
- Documenting and managing all business issues arising from requirements gathering, prioritising and then progressing to resolution
- Working with IT groups to convert requirements into solutions
- Identifying analysis and design issues/risks on a timely basis and escalates to the development manager as appropriate
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science
- Significant experience of project management/ business analysis experience across an international investment bank and / or a major consulting firm within financial services
- Track record in delivering major projects completing business analysis assignments across both business requirements gathering and testing
- Strong knowledge of investment bank business processes, front to back
- Presentation skills, both formal and informal to differing audiences
- Familiarity with MS Project and Project Planning Control
- Solid knowledge of IT: managing IT-oriented projects, users requirements / testing. Understanding of IT oriented methods and approach
- Strong stakeholders management, people management communication skills
