Proposal Specialist recruitment

This position is an integral part of winning new business with the largest and most sought after clients. This team works only on proposals for larger strategic clients selling a wide range of products including LDI, alternative investments, fixed income and equity. These are significant and complex RFPs offering new and bespoke solutions and information.

You will develop a deep understanding of some of the most relevant products in the market today – including strategy, structure, USP’s and the breadth of this role gives the successful candidate the chance to build a high profile and forge relationships with various internal teams, providing significant opportunity for progression within the business. Upon joining you will also be given an individual development plan to help guide you towards your career goals and move towards your long term direction.

This is definitely not just a copy and paste proposal role, but one with a great deal of involvement in the sales process, writing of new and bespoke material, very close liaison with multiple teams across the business and requiring a deep understanding of the industry’s leading products. You will also have a definite career path to follow long term, outside of RFP if desired.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience from an Asset Management firm with exposure to RFPs. They will consider candidates with no RFP but strong transferable skills and strong Investment Knowledge. French or Dutch languages would be extremely advantageous. Knowledge of multiple asset classes is an ideal, but LDI or Fixed Income in particular. Enthusiasm and attitude is extremely important and my client are seeking eager, hungry and willing professionals to give their all in this role and the business as they grow with it.
