Purchasing Manager - Procurement Manager - Electronics Manufacturing
Do you have 5+ years of experience as a procurement or purchasing manager within an electronics manufacturing or production environment?
Do you have strong negotiation and communication skills?

Located in Los Angeles, we a leading manufacturer of hi-tech security systems. We are private and profitable. Due to our growth, we are currently hiring for a motivated purchasing manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a track record of success managing purchasing and inventory control within manual and MRP planning environments.
What do you need to qualify?
- 5+ years of experience as a senior procurement or purchasing manager
- Must have electronics manufacturing or production environment experience
- Must have both manual and MRP driven purchasing experience
- Experience buying components for surveillance cameras or security systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of electronics and engineering tolerances
- Ability to read blueprints and communicate component specifications to suppliers
- Knowledgeable in establishing systematic processes that will maintain cost effective inventory levels while keeping critical deliveries on-time
- Prior management or supervisory experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to develop lasting vendor/supplier relationships
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Materials Management or similar
