Resourcing Officer, Fitch Ratings recruitment

Job Overview 

The primary role of the Resourcing Officer is to deliver and support the Recruitment and  Selection of Experienced, Temporary Graduate Hires across EMEA for our three main business units: Fitch Ratings, Fitch Solutions Fitch Training.

Key Deliverables:
• Sourcing candidates via different resourcing channels (internal, job board, PSL, referral)
• Developing relationships across client groups and international offices, working closely with HR Advisors regarding new hires and transfers.
• Responsible for the background screening and on-boarding of new hires via a third party provider and in conjunction with other HR team members respectively.

Duties will include:
• Tracking headcount and approval of new hires.
• Reviewing and editing of job descriptions/person specifications.
• Sourcing and screening of candidates.
• Administering and advising on appropriate pre-selection assessments.
• Arranging interviews and interviewing as a HR representative.
• Providing support and guidance to hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment selection process.
• Making offers of employment issuing new joiner contracts documentation.
• Maintenance of the recruitment management system (“PeopleClick”).  Acting as a “super user” for PeopleClick, and contact for agencies, hiring managers and direct candidates.
• Hosting agency briefings and recruitment related events.
• Supporting onboarding induction activities including delivery of Day 1 Induction for new starters in the UK.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have experience of recruiting across a variety of disciplines and levels, be able to provide high level support to managers, have up to date knowledge of employment law and be a highly effective communicator both verbally and in writing.

You will have proven ability to build rapport and forge effective working relationships at all levels, possess strong organisation skills and be able to work effectively under pressure. You will be team player who is self motivated but is able to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of integrity.

Key Requirements:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Previous recruitment/resourcing experience gained within the corporate sector. (Inhouse experience desirable).
• Competency interviewing skills.
• General awareness of selection tools (SHL etc)
• Knowledge of legislation with regards to employment immigration.
• Working knowledge of a Recruitment Management System (PeopleClick desirable)
• Knowledge of the financial services sector is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel; PowerPoint (Lotus Notes desirable but by no means essential).
• Excellent communications skills (both verbally and in writing).  Must be confident with dealling will people at all levels.
