RAD Team Leader – C##
Global Commodities Trading Company based in Central London, requires experienced RAD Team Leader to join an expanding middle/Back Office technology function.
Essential Skills: hands on development experience in C#, SQL Server and ideally Python; strong man management skills managing teams of developers of between 5 and 10 people; business exposure to Market and Credit Risk.
The role will be part of a Senior Management team who are responsible for driving a large change program, largely around application optimisation. The role will take ownership of the on-going development of a large number of business applications which cover Market Credit Risk, Finance, Compliance and reference data.
You will manage a team of 5 C# RAD developers who are working to an Agile methodology driving through large amounts of releases, averaging around 5 a month. Therefore I am looking for candidates who are still hands on in the code; this is not a development manager role.
Due to the complex business nature of the applications being developed, the successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Vega and gamma principles, Monte Carlo, Taylor Series and analytics. You will be asked to define the difference between them all, and what influences they have on a technology business.
