RCO – Credit Exposure Analyst recruitment

The Risk Control Operations (RCO) team operates as a business support and change function, supporting all aspects of Credit and Market Risk Control’s technology and business process change. RCO is composed of RCO Support Data Management Team, RCO Change Team and RWA Exposure Management Team.
This role will form part of the London based EAD and Exposure Management team within RWA Exposure Management.
The EAD and Exposure Management team is primarily responsible for assessing the reasonableness of credit risk exposure numbers for both the UBS limited to UBS AG collateral call and for the credit community as a whole.
The team is responsible for overall exposure validation including acting as credit engine Subject Matter Expert. The team is responsible for the daily support and escalation of credit exposure control reports, daily UBS Limited reasonableness checks, aiding in assessing Impact analysis for changes which impact exposures and partaking as business leads in the strategic vision of credit risk transformation.
The successful candidate will join a global team and will gain significant exposure to all aspects of the Credit Risk environment. They will work within a diverse environment that encompasses Credit Risk Officers, Finance, Trading, Legal, Risk Methodology experts, IT professionals and project managers.
Key responsibilities:
- validate movements in EAD for daily controls
- validate movements being reported as part of the impact analysis on system changes
- provide release support for exposure numbers pre and post releases
- provide business support for all strategic changes for EAD
- Production and analysis of monthly reports to track credit risk engine health month-on-month
- Production and analysis of PCE control reports and metrics, ensuring issues are correctly communicated to the wider credit community and are dealt with appropriately
Required skills:

• Ability to cope with stressful scenarios and make appropriate decisions in a short time frame
Good understanding of current credit infrastructure and products traded by UBS
