Description

The Reconciliation Service Group provides exception management services to the various operational business units. The incumbent will be responsible for managing representatives that are charged with identifying exceptions in both complex and global type reconciliations. S/He will be accountable for delivery and communication of accurate and timely reconciliations to the line of business. S/He will be responsible for developing and enhancing relationships between business groups and Recon Services Group. S/He will be responsible for the training of staff on new procedures and enhancements. S/He will also provide support in the delivery and development of management reporting. S/He will be involved with vendor management activities. S/He will be expected to recommend and implement enhancements to increase productivity and quality controls. S/He will be responsible for the development and maintenance of staff procedures. S/He will be responsible for the preparation of performance appraisals. S/he will respond directly to inquiries to both external and internal auditors. S/He will perform and monitor risk management by adhering to established quality control standards and procedures. S/He will also be involved in system implementations which would include the development and execution of test plans. S/He will also be involved in business recovery and Inter Regional Business Continuity strategies.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. S/He must have a strong background in the Microsoft suite of products. S/He must possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently and under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines. Supervisory, interviewing, organizational and effective leadership skills preferred. Five to seven years of relevant securities and management experience required.
