Regional Administrator Job in Leeds, Yorkshire Uk
Our client is looking for an Administrator to join their team in Leeds on a full time, permanent basis in January 2012. The role is mainly office based but there may be the odd occasion where you will be required to travel in the region and also to other offices for training and company meetings / events.
Candidates must have a strong background of working in Administration. Experience of working for a College, Training Provider or in an Educational environment would be beneficial.
You will regularly be required to work under your own initiative in this position so the ability to multi task and self motivate are essential.
Good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner will be required.
Duties
The main function of the Administrator position is to provide the necessary and relevant administration support to the business operations of their respective team. To ensure that data entry is conducted in line with operational requirements and support the functions of accurate and timely data recording to satisfy our clients, funding bodies and support services.
Principal duties:
Accurately input all starts and leavers onto our database system in a timely manner
Support the input of learner review visits, or where required directly input review information into the system
Ensure stationary supplies are maintained in line with business requirements and that internal and external stationary orders are made in a timely fashion
Conduct monthly audits on files and complete audit schedule reports and advise Managers/Team Leaders of issues of non-compliance
Answer the telephone and deal with all enquiries in an efficient manner
Take meeting minutes at team meetings and standardisation meetings if required and produce typed copies for circulation
Compile monthly invoice requests to head office as required
Send out certificates to employers/learners as per area request
Send out all post and keep a log of the float needed to support the office demands
Arrange the meeting rooms for internal and external courses and prepare all catering/equipment needed
Assist TAs understanding of paperwork requirements and use of provider where requested
Undertake photocopying and filing activities as required and to maintain a orderly filing system for learner files
Maintain a supply of starter packs and to ensure that changes in documentation and forms are acted on and to ensure new forms/procedures are implemented in a timely fashion
Undertake marketing activities where required to include basic market research, mailing out of letters/brochures/ sending out of marketing e-mails
Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required from time to time
For Regional administrators' there might be a requirement to visit and undertake a range of duties at other area offices

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Holidays: 25 days per year
Salary: Starting salary £16,000 per annum
Travel: Mainly office based, some travel to other offices required on occasion
