Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager, APAC (Singapore office) recruitment
Main Responsibilities
• Administer monthly payroll and verifying yearly income tax matters (IR8A and tax clearance) for around 120 AP employees through payroll vendor.
• Ensure smooth implementation of global HRIS in AP office. Work closely with countries HR on HRIS implementation in countries.
• Responsible for the yearly review of salary increment and bonus (including sales incentive) exercises.
• Assist in top management’s weekly review and approval of compensation benefits matters for management employees within AP countries.
• Prepare salary proposal and employment contracts for new hires.
• Oversee the administration of expatriates’ and foreigners’ benefits located within AP countries. Liaising with tax agents and/or countries’ HR on all expatriate/foreigner tax matters.
• Administer online benefits system. In charge of employees’ benefits matters (like insurance renewal, travel policy, annual leave reconciliation, medical claims, flex-benefits claims, hospitalization etc).
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly HR KPI reports. Updating records for manual tracking of all HR KPIs.
• Provide support on the job evaluation of new roles using the global evaluation system.
• Assist in the roll-out of Global Rewards projects.
• Responsible for all market data surveys and submission.
• Any other compensation, benefits or HRIS related duties and responsibilities, as and when arises.
Requirements:
• Min. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any other related discipline.
• 7-8 years of relevant HR experience, focusing on compensation benefits, at least 3 years in a regional HR capacity.
• Prior experience working in payroll outsourcing environment and HRIS.
• Working knowledge of compensation and benefits programs, practices and legislation in Asia Pacific.
• Good knowledge of the local Singapore employment regulations and law.
• Experienced in managing outsourced payroll for a headcount of 120+.
• Computer Literate and expert in Microsoft office applications.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills required to analyze and prepare salary proposal and reports.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• A collaborative and team-player attitude.
