Regional Employee Relations Advisor – Global and growing Bank recruitment
Our client is a well-known Financial Services firm with a growing business in Asia. Due to increased expansion, a new opportunity has arisen to work within the Regional Human Resources team.
Based in Hong Kong, your responsibilities will include advising on complex and often sensitive ER cases, streamlining HR processes and employment policies, ensuring ER risk is managed, a legally defensible outcome always considered, and generally making sure that the HR operations run smoothly across the region. You would also assist with harmonizing and / or advising on processes and policies across the region, supporting line as appropriate. In addition, this role will manage various projects and take an active lead in Health, Safety and well-being initiatives.
Extensive ER advisory experience is imperative and you must have a legal / training in law background - preferably covering employment law. Most importantly, you will exercise sound judgment and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and have a strong advisory and consultative approach. Fluency in English is essential and Chinese preferable.
