Our client is a leading commodities solutions provider with a very strong Asia focus. We are looking for an experienced Directro level Commodities deal originator to join a selective specialist Asia team to lead their client deal origination and relationship management efforts in the Greater China region.
You will be based in Hong Kongbut will travel in the Region due to Asia coverage potential with focus in Natural Resources (Metals/Minning Oil/Gas).
As an expert and lead originator, you will identify and develop product solutions for existing and target clients both in China and elsewhere in Asia. Your main responsibility would be to expand the bank’s penetration in the commodities segment, and increase their book size.
As a leader, you will need to bring your 10+ expertise from another reputable bank with at least 5 years of Asia commodities experience and dealing with a portfolio of Metals Mining clients or within the Oil Gas space. Your track record in providing solutions for wholesale banking clients with a specific focus on Structured Commodities and Trade Finance will be essential for the bank's Credit Processing and Risk Management coverage.
The succesfull candidate will need to have fluent Mandarin and English.
