Regional Sr Credit Officer
Responsibilities
Highly visible senior management leadership role requiring independence, decisiveness and strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to prioritize and operate in a multitasked and geographically dispersed environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Insure compliance with Credit Policy.
- Daily and weekly approvals of significant and insignificant credit amendments, waivers, etc for the assigned portfolio.
- Schedule, facilitate and manage the SCR quarterly review process, including quality control of reports.
- Schedule, facilitate and manage the Pre-PER and PER review process, including quality control of reports.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to relationship managers in the evaluations and restructuring of individual transactions.
- Respond to external regulators re scheduling of audits and questions re audit results. Manage and facilitate the Credit Review process.
- Credit related projects as required on a periodic basis.
- Serve as designated representative on various committees on a periodic basis.
- Manage Credit Policy projects on a periodic basis.
- Interface with Team Leaders and Relationship managers re preparation and review of SNC transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in financially oriented major.
Masters degree preferred.
10-15 years of commercial credit experience- line lending experience of five years strongly preferred.
Senior level communication/interpersonal, coaching and negotiation skills
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
