Repairs Officer

Repairs Officer immediately required for this central London Local Authority.  You will be working within a team of 16 taking calls from residents, diagnosing faults, defects and repairs for their property.  The role is scheduled to run for 3 months but initial outlooks are that this will be extended.

The main duties are as following:
1. Customer Service
2. Booking contractors to visit and repair property
3. General Administration
4. Updating the system with live information regarding the repair
5. Liaising with contractors and residents to ensure a prompt response 

Candidates need to have the following skills:
1. Proven customer service experience
2. Office administration experience
3. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
4. Knowledge of housing packages such as OHMS and CRM
4. Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute

The following skills are not essential but are desirable:
1. Immediately available
2. Lives locally to the role
3. Experience working in the public sector
