About our client
Our client is the representative body of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital market based in Brussels

Responsibilities

Handling information requests from members related to statistics and market trends as well as monitoring external research articles and publications on the private equity industry as well as wider economic factors affecting it
Conducting desk research and creating presentations for internal and external use and creating, maintaining, and updating data files on industry-related topics
Coordinating the deliverables of internal or external teams collecting pan-European private equity industry statistics and critical audit and analysis of private equity industry data

Skills we’re looking for

Fast learner who is able to develop a strong network within the organisation and across the industry at large, following the dynamics of the private equity market and its wider economic impact
University degree in economics, finance, statistics or similar subjects, and relevant work experience in a research role
Strong numeracy and analytical skills and the ability to work with high data volumes to derive conclusions and recommendations for swift internal and external communication
Excellent communication skills are required with fluent English, both spoken and written (working language) servicing internal or external stakeholders. Additional languages are an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes required: Expert knowledge of Excel and good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Access.
Previous experience in the financial services sector in general, and in private equity / venture capital in particular, would be a clear advantage, but is not essential
