  • Retail Community: Participates in and/or is responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection and reuse of IBM's intellectual capital. Participates actively in and in some cases leads knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.

    Travel can be up to 5 days per week and international travel is required for this role. It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC. Exceptions may be considered.

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 2 years experience in hands-on, full life-cycle program management
    • At least 4 years experience in retail merchandising systems and strategy solution/transformation engagements involving process and technology initiatives
    • At least 4 years experience in the retail/merchandising industry and working with key retail ISVs (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
    • At least 3 years experience in price optimization transformation projects
    • Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
    • English: Fluent

    Preferred

    • Master's Degree
    • At least 10 years experience in a consulting firm or professional services firm, with consulting sales and delivery responsibilities to C-Level executives in the Retail/Merchandising industry.
    • At least 8 years experience in hands-on, full life-cycle program management
    • At least 10 years experience in retail merchandising systems and strategy solution/transformation engagements involving process and technology initiatives
    • At least 10 years experience in the retail/merchandising industry and working with key retail ISVs (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
    • At least 8 years experience in price optimization transformation projects
    • At least 5 years experience in one or more of the following: Sterling Commerce, Unica, merchandise planning and/or customer analytics
    • At least 8 years experience in grocery or private label industry
