Risk and Valuations Senior Analyst recruitment
Our client is a leading boutique Funds Company with a strong domestic foothold here inIrelandbut with a large based across North America and inEurope. With considerable growth in relation to Funds under Management our client is seeking to retain the services of a Senior Risk and Valuations Analyst, AVP Level, to join their operation here inDublin.
This role will be quite a diverse position and will have scope as the team develops. The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Evaluate and verify fair market values for complex OTC derivative instruments using in-house models and independent 3rd party valuation services.
- Pricing all relevant securities covering all underlying funds under management from a Hedge Fund perspective
- Ensure all corporate actions are actioned and effected on value for each fund
- Assist in global security master database management, developing interfaces and workflow managers.
- Support analytical, reporting and pricing functionality of Advent Geneva.
- Further develop and grow this team as new products and instruments come on line
Our client is seeking a candidate with a solid Funds background coming from either Fund Accounting and or Analysis with solid academics and excellent management skills. The role will initially work across OTC derivative instrument but will develop over time to include further and exotic financial instruments. This position will be one of considerable scope and will become a focal point for the Risk and Valuation of external and internal funds.
The successful candidate will ideally have gained 4 years experience within the Fund Accounting spectrum and will have been exposed to a variety of Hedge and Mutual Fund products. You will have excellent academics and will be keen to develop these further in study.
We are seeking an individual who is keen to develop their career to the next level and utilise their experience gained to date. The progression for this role is immense and it will see the incumbent developing a team over the coming quarters.
