SBB-Platts Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring each of the customers to which he/she is assigned has the best possible experience. That includes promotion of all products identified with sales manager through a combination of outbound and inbound telephone calls and emails communications to existing and prospective customers. The SBB-Platts Sales Executive will be responsible for meeting/exceeding individual sales targets and telephone activity targets as established by Sales Management. The individual is expected to leverage the existing customer contact base, to network and individually prospect for new opportunities and consistently apply superior sales skills to grow existing accounts and secure new ones.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new subscriptions and other products by establishing contacts with relevant key decision-makers at new prospects and within existing accounts and introduce SBB, TSI and other Platts products as appropriate.

Responsibilities also include welcoming and administering incoming leads, maintaining and expanding the current database of qualified prospects within the pre-assigned sales regions or account base. Additionally, proactive outbound calls will be made to potential readers from lists either provided by management or self-researched and compiled from a given market or segment.
Participating in selling campaigns and promotions and initiating ideas of such.

Coordinating with customer services as needed, and maintaining accurate account information in the appropriate CRM system as well as any additional report(s) that may be required daily, weekly or monthly as determined by Sales Management are essential functions of this role.
